  • A new coalition to safely reopen Minnesota's economy

Businesses throughout Minnesota – especially small businesses – are eagerly awaiting their turn to fully open. They have taken the necessary safety precautions, with detailed, effective preparedness plans in place. Knowing that they could reopen or increase customer capacity on a certain date would help small businesses start to refuel our economy, and safely welcome back their employees and customers.
Small businesses are the economic engine of our state’s future. Without decisive action, many will be lost. This is not simply a personal loss for business owners. This is a loss to the employees, their communities, the local governments and the state in terms of commercial and economic activity.
As the state's leading business advocacy group, we're partnering with over 50 local chambers of commerce and trade organizations to form the Minnesota Ready Coalition in an effort to quickly and safely reopen Minnesota's economy.
What can you do to help?

    • Contact Governor Walz and legislators to let them know that it's time to safely reopen Minnesota's economy on or before Friday, June 19.  Simply click the link and it will take you to a form that you can submit, once you enter your address it will automatically go to the Governor, your local Senator, and Representative based on address.
    • Read this letter the Minnesota Ready Coalition sent to Governor Walz today (6/10/20).

Tools to help you prepare to open:

    • Pages 9 thru 13 include some high resolution printable (8.5x11 paper) posters that you can print and fill in the blank to display and use as part of your safety plan.

    • This is a brief outline with great information on developing YOUR plan. Including links and information from OSHA and CDC

    Stearns County COVID testing Flyer

    • Due to an increase in cases in Stearns Co, we have been asked to circulate this flyer as a notice reminding people when to get tested and the CentraCare Connect Hotline number. Another good resource to print and display in the workplace or circulate by email to staff.
