Assembly Worker in metal fabrication is responsible for assembling, fitting, and finishing metal components and products according to specifications, blueprints, and safety standards. This role involves working with hand tools, power tools, and machinery to produce high-quality fabricated metal parts.

    Available Shift:
    • 1st Shift: Monday – Thursday, 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
    Key Responsibilities
    • Assemble metal parts and components using hand tools, power tools, and fastening equipment
    • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions
    • Measure, cut, and align metal pieces to meet specifications
    • Operate basic fabrication equipment such as drill presses, grinders, and saws
    • Perform quality inspections to ensure products meet company and customer standards
    • Maintain a clean and organized work area
    • Follow all safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE)
    • Assist with loading/unloading materials and finished products
    • Report defects, equipment issues, or safety concerns to supervisors
    • Support team members to meet production goals and deadlines
    Qualifications
    • High school diploma or GED preferred
    • Previous experience in manufacturing, assembly, or metal fabrication is a plus
    • Basic understanding of mechanical concepts and tools
    • Ability to read measuring instruments such as tape measures and calipers
    • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
    • Knowledge of hand and power tools
    • Basic blueprint reading skills
    • Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
    Physical Requirements
    • Ability to stand, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs. regularly
    • Comfortable working in a production or shop environment
    • Ability to perform repetitive tasks for extended periods
