Summer Fun Starts Right Here in Sauk Centre.
Summer isn’t complete without a trip to the Stearns County Fair. This yearly tradition is a thrill for locals and visitors alike. The fair opens at the end of July and attracts between 30,000 to 35,000 people annually. 2026 represents our 124th year of celebrating the Stearns County Fair from our original location in Sauk Centre, Minnesota.
Grandstand Events: High-energy entertainment like the famous demolition derby, tractor pull and ranch rodeo.
Exhibits & Livestock: Traditional 4-H & FFA animal shows, draft horse competitions, and open class & ag exhibits.
Activities: Fun community events like the Milk Run 5K, medallion hunt, and interactive STEAM projects for kids.
Live Entertainment: Daily performances, live music, and free stage entertainment.
Fair Food: Indulge in classic Minnesota state and county fair favorites, from cheese curds to food-on-a-stick.
Midway: The midway features first-rate attractions, including a wide variety of winnable games, carnival rides and tasty concessions.

Camping spots are available on the fairgrounds.
