About the Position

Sauk Centre Public Schools is seeking a dedicated, energetic, and leadership-oriented individual to serve as our Head Football Coach for the upcoming 2026-2027 season. We are looking for a coach who is passionate about student-athlete development, sportsmanship, and building a competitive, character-driven program within our community.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee all aspects of the varsity football program.

• Develop and implement practice plans, game strategies, and off-season conditioning.

• Mentor student-athletes on and off the field, emphasizing academic success and personal growth.

• Collaborate with the Activities Director and coaching staff to ensure program alignment from youth levels through high school.

• Maintain effective communication with parents, staff, and the Sauk Centre community.

Qualifications

• Previous coaching experience (High School or Collegiate level preferred).

• Strong knowledge of football fundamentals, safety protocols, and MSHSL regulations.

• Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.

• Ability to inspire and motivate young athletes.
