Alise Sjostrom is co-owner of the world’s only cheesestillery, mother of three, wife and sister in a family of four redheads. With Stearns County as home, milk and moonshine run in her blood. She is using her resources – human, geographical, and agricultural – to add as much value as possible to the place she’s always called home; Jer-Lindy Farms and Redhead Creamery. Owning the business with her husband and parents, they’ve created award-winning cows, cheese and whey-based spirits. Her family has a vision to continue creating things that are hard to find in the area. They hope as they build, they’ll add value to the agricultural community, having many partnerships along the way.
Jane Knott has been employed by Stearns County for 26 years. She has spent 8.5 years on the feedlot team and has been a registered sanitarian/environmental health specialist for 17 years.
Greg Koshiol has spent five years as a food safety specialist working in private industry, 11 years working as an environmental health specialist for the Minnesota Department of Health and Minnesota Department of Agriculture and two years working as an environmental health specialist at the Stearns County Environmental Services Department.Food Business First StepsDate and Time
