City of Sauk Centre Clean Up

Mark your calendars for Wednesday, August 20, 2025, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.! This special clean-up day is for Sauk Centre residents to dispose of approved scrap metal items at the Sauk Centre Civic Arena parking lot (818 Centre Street).

No-charge items: pots, pans, and auto batteries.
$5 items: microwaves, furnaces, lawn mowers, snow blowers, and more.
$10 items: dehumidifiers, stoves, washers, dryers, and AC units.
$20 items: refrigerators, freezers, and water softeners.

Important: Absolutely no RV refrigerators will be accepted.

Household Hazardous Waste Collection – Sauk Centre

Wondering what to do with those old paints, cleaners, chemicals, and other hazardous products around your home? Bring them to the Household Hazardous Waste Collection event on Wednesday, August 20, 2025, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Sauk Centre Hockey Arena (818 Centre Street).

Accepted items include: paints, cleaners, automotive chemicals, garden and pool chemicals, fluorescent bulbs, adhesives, aerosols, solvents, mothballs, and mercury.

Not accepted: business waste, appliances, antifreeze, used motor oil, garbage, tires, electronics, carpet, medical waste, and more.
