DESCRIPTION:Sinclair Lewis Days Kick-Off and Kids Night in the Park\n\nWednesday\, July 18th kicks off the first day of our community Sinclair Lewis Days celebration!\n\n\n\nFestivities are 5pm - 8pm\n\n\n\n5:00pm - Turtle Races (begins at 5:00pm at the boat landing - bring your own turtle - prizes for winners)\n\n\n\n5:00pm - 8:00pm - Sauk Centre Mainstreeters Swim Team will serve Food in the Park: Hot Dogs\, Chips\, Drinks (Proceeds benefit the Swim Team) Thank You to Sauk Centre Coborn's for donating the food and use of the food trailer to the swim team!!\n\n\n\n5:30pm - 7:30pm - Free Glitter Tattoos for the kids!\n\n6:30pm - 8:00pm - Free Balloon Characters for the kids!\n\n\n\n5:30pm - Kiddie/Pet Parade - Theme: Wizard of Oz\n\nBring your kids and your pets dressed in their favorite Wizard of Oz character to participate in their very own parade!\n\n Line-up begins at 5:15pm on the west end of Sinclair Lewis Park by the campground.\n\n The parade begins at 5:30pm and will end on the east end of the park near the Band Shell.\n\n All children who participate in the parade will have their names entered for a chance to win some awesome prizes!\n\n Prizes will be drawn at the Band Shell immediately after the parade.\n\n This year's kiddie/pet parade Grand Marshall is Officer Joe Jensen and K-9 Sonny!\n\n\n\n6:00 pm - 6:30pm - Mixed Nuts-Family Comedy Show in front of the Bandshell by A Touch of Magic!\n\n\n\n6:45pm - 7:30pm - Music presented by Sandy Weisser School of Music! Come and enjoy music from some of our very talented & local young artists! They are excited to entertain you all!\n\n\n\n7:30 - 8:00pm - Hula Hoop Performance by Hope (aka HopeHoopsALot)!\n\n\n\nThank you to our Sponsors!!
