\nHello from the 2024 Sinclair Lewis Days Parade Committee!
\nYou&rsquo\;re invited to celebrate our 53^rd Annual Sinclair Lewis Days with us! We are celebrating the seasons and soon our summer festivities will be fast upon us. Events will take place from \;July 17^th &ndash\; July 21^st\, watch for details with our lineup of events. Our parade is on Saturday\, July 20th at 7:00pm sharp! The Sinclair Lewis Days Parade is one of the main events of our celebration and draws large crowds to our community. Last year our streets were lined with more than 15\,000 people!

\nOur committee&rsquo\;s goal is to have a 100-unit parade geared around this year&rsquo\;s theme\, &ldquo\;Margaritaville on Main Street&rdquo\;. Our number one criterion for our parade is entertainment! We encourage you to start working on your parade floats early and maybe channel your inner Jimmy Buffet. In the spirit of relaxation\, good times\, and endless summer vibes we encourage you to grab your grass skirts\, Hawaiian shirts\, and shades. We are about to embark on a journey through paradise\, celebrating our Main Street and all Sauk Centre has to offer. Get ready to groove to the rhythm of steel drums and island tunes\, let your worries drift away and register for the parade today! Get creative and let&rsquo\;s see your favorite Caribbean flair help us celebrate the seasons and a fabulous 53^rd Annual Sinclair Lewis Days!

\nWe will be giving cash prizes in the form of Sauk Centre Chamber Bucks based on judging for Best Themed Float\, Best Non-Profit Float\, Best Musical Float\, &\; Best Youth Float.

\nRegistration is open and free to the first 100 registrants. Online registration is recommended\, But you may also register by mailing your application\, or by email. \;Register online today by clicking the "\;register"\; button to the right hand side on this screen.

\nThe line-up will be based primarily\, but not exclusively\, on the order the entries are received and type of float. Get your entry forms submitted early as we only have room for the first 100.

\nOnce your application is received and accepted\, and our details are finalized\, you will receive more information regarding the parade line-up. This will include your unit number and a map of the parade route. This information will be sent by the 2^nd week of July. If you have any questions\, please do not hesitate to contact us.
